The 6th International U12 Izmir Cup, organized by ALTINORDU, started. 72 teams from 24 different countries are participating in the tournament. The organization will continue for three days at Ismet Orhunbilge Facilities in İzmir - Selçuk. Besides Turkey, there are a total of 1,300 children from Germany, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Bulgaria, France, Wales, England, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Scotland, Italy, Croatia, Netherlands, Qatar, Poland, Portugal I, Russia, Serbia, Slovenia, and Greece in 6th International U12 Izmir Cup.

The opening ceremony of U12 Izmir Cup was a scene full of colorful images. Ambassador Christian Berger, the Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Turkey also attended to the opening. The chairman of Altınordu, Seyit Mehmet Özkan said Altınordu's slogan together with eight teams years ago, and 72 teams are in Izmır Cup today. It is worth everything for the children. The European Union Solidarity Team also participated in the U12 Izmır Cup as part of its social responsibility project. The children who took football training in Altınordu facilities for a month, showed their skills in a short time. Ambassador Christian Berger and Altınordu's Chairman Seyit Mehmet Özkan warmly interested with the EU Solidarity Team and invited children to the stage and applauded them.
