INTRODUCTORY meeting of Izmır Cup 2015 which organizated with the participation of 48 team from 21 different countries was held. İzmir Mayor Aziz Kocaoglu, Chief of Altınordu A.Ş Seyit Mehmet Özkan, İzmir Chamber of Commerce  Ekrem Demirtaş and more than 100 guest attended the introductory meeting which held in Historical Gas Factory (Tarihi Havagazı Fabrikası). The organization brought together many sportsmen who are prominent in İzmir and Salih Uçan, who is young, Turkish football player playing in AS Rome, connected via the internet at the meeting.

Mayor Aziz Kocaoglu: " İzmir Cup 2015 will be the trademark of İzmir. The projects which are meaningful to the city are for everyone and we can improve the country only in unity. I believe İzmir Cup will be the trademark and significant project in İzmir by the leadership of Altınordu A.Ş and with the help of the İzmir Municipality"

Chief of Altınordu A.Ş Seyit Mehmet Özkan: "We want this organization become traditional. We started this football tournaments,which one can see the examples in Europe, on the behalf of our country in İzmir. We're planning to start a new U12 tournament with 72 teams and U14 tournaments next year."
